Hot weather and ice cream go hand-in-hand and for the Northwest, add coffee to the mix.

Twitter experts figured out the most popular ice cream flavor by state, eliminating chocolate and vanilla. Looking at 30 million different tweets mentioning 20 flavors, experts determined coffee and cookie dough dominated most states.

Washington, Oregon and California all picked coffee as the most popular flavor.

Mint, Strawberry and Brownie were among the top five flavors across states.
