Yakima man killed in rollover crash near Ellensburg

A Yakima man died in a rollover crash on I-82 just east of Ellensburg.

Washington State Patrol says 46-year-old Thomas Mansfield was driving westbound on I-90 Friday morning when he was exiting to I-82. Troopers say he missed the curve in the road and rolled his car. The car ended up on its side and Mansfield died at the scene.

Troopers say the cause is because he failed to see the turn. He was wearing a seat belt but troopers believe drugs or alcohol was a factor.
