WSP Troopers Searching For Hit And Run Vehicle

A Yakima County Fire fighter was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Sunday morning.

Yakima County Fire District 5 and Washington State Patrol were responding to a roll-over crash on I-82 at mile post 57 at 5:30am, when 62-year old Terry Carter was struck by a westbound driver.

Troopers are searching for the vehicle, described as a 2012-2014 white Nissan Versa, with Oregon plates.  It has damage to the driver-side bumper.
