Wreck Snarls Traffic on I-182 Thursday Morning

(Richland, WA) -- The Washington State Patrol is investigating a crash involving a car and Semi-Truck on the Westbound I-182 Freeway between the George Washington Way and Queensgate. It happened around 8:00am when, authorities say, the car spun out on the Eastbound side of the Freeway and launched over the median into the truck, causing the truck's trailer to separate and the car to catch on fire. The driver of the car was able to make it out of the vehicle before it caught fire. Traffic was backed up for miles.
