Washington Airports Lead in Cancelled Flights
(Spokane, WA) -- Snow and pandemic-related staffing issues continue to cause flight delays across Washington state and the rest of the nation. The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport had more canceled flights yesterday than any other airport in the world for the second day in a row. Roughly 30-percent of incoming and departing flights at Sea-Tac were canceled yesterday. At Spokane International Airport, ten flights were canceled and 14 flights were delayed.
