Two people are in the hospital after Pasco police say they got into a disagreement and that lead to a stabbing.

Officers say they arrived to a home off the corner of Helena and Sycamore Ave. in Pasco around 3 p.m. to find a 33-year-old on the sidewalk who had been stabbed several times with a knife, some of those injuries looking serious according to police. Officers say the man was rushed to the hospital.

Sergeant Brad Gregory says when they investigated further officers found a second 41-year-old man with injuries inside the house, he came out without incident and was taken to a different hospital.

Gregory says at this point they believe a disagreement lead up to the stabbing. The only relationship between the two, was that they knew one another and Gregory says they are still working to determine who may be charged and what they will be charged with.

The home where the incident had occurred had been vacant for the past year and had a padlock on the door. Police say they noticed several of the windows had been broken out.

Officers believe the community in the area is safe and these were the only two people involved.
