Two detained in connection to threatening a man by gunpoint

Two people were taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in connection with an incident involving a gun at a home in the 24th Loop and Olympia in Kennewick.

Police say a man reported being threatened by 5 men, one of whom had a pistol. When police arrived all 5 men took off from out of a car into Zintel Canyon. After a short foot chase, two of the suspects were able to be detained and questioned.

Officers believe the incident was over drugs and the involved people may have known one another.
