"Tacobout" a tasty week of lunches, for the second year an event surrounding a favorite food, is back this month.

Pasco Taco Crawler-In-Chief Craig Maloney says the Taco Crawl is set to start April 21st, but tickets are on sale now.

The event starts with each person purchasing a booklet with vouchers good for one taco from each of the 20 participating vendors. The "Taco Crawlers," have between to April 21 to May 6th to try as many tacos as they can. Then each person will be able to vote for the "Best Taco in Pasco." Voting will close May 5th and the winner will be announced at the Downtown Pasco Development Authority’s Cinco de Mayo Festival on May 6, 2017.

Last year, tickets sold out and nearly 500 people took part, this year they hope to double the number to 1,000. Event organizers say they have also added five new vendors this year.

Money from the ticket sales will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs.

“The Taco Crawl is a fun and unique event. We are excited to again invite the people of the Tri-Cities to eat great tacos and visit the neighborhoods where many of our Club members live and learn,” Brian Ace, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties said in a statement.

You can find more information about purchasing tickets on the Pasco Taco Crawl website.
