Seattle Man Shot in Chest With Crossbow Bolt

(Seattle, WA) -- A man is in the hospital after being hit by a crossbow bolt. Seattle Police responded to a homeless encampment on Capitol Hill Thursday for reports of an assault. Responding officers found a man injured with a crossbow bolt sticking out of his chest. They say the victim was involved in some sort of altercation with another individual who shot him with a crossbow, then ran away.

The victim was treated at Harborview Medical Center. Investigators say they have a suspect identified, but the case is still ongoing.
