Seattle Police Incur Minor Injuries Responding to Fights Over the Weekend

(Seattle, WA) -- Four Seattle Police officers are recovering from minor injuries sustained while responding to two separate fights downtown over the weekend. The Seattle Police Department says the first fight happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday. One of the people involved in the fight reportedly punched two responding officers in the face and kicked a third officer before they were able to take him into custody.

The second fight happened just moments later at a nightclub in Belltown. One officer responding to the fight was injured after someone allegedly attacked him from behind.
