(Walla Walla County, WA) A runaway train car caused quite the commotion in Walla Walla Tuesday. Employees at a yard were attempting to hook the car up to a train at around 1pm when it was bumped and began rolling downhill. The car reached speeds of over 50 MPH as it sped west alongside Highway 12.

Local authorities scrambled to block intersections and keep vehicle traffic out of the way until the car finally came to a stop near Touchet.

Fortunately no other vehicles collided with the car, and no one was hurt trying to slow it down.
