TRI-CITIES, Wash.-The school boards in Richland and Pasco approved a return of students to five days of in-person learning contingent on the State of Washington revising its guidance on social distancing.

The Centers for Disease Control recently said three feet of distance in schools was sufficient in blocking the spread of COVID-19.

If the State Health Department mirrors that requirement change, Richland would send all grades back Monday, April 19th, while elementary students in Pasco would return the 12th and middle and high school on the 19th.
