Orchard worker dies in tractor accident

ELTOPIA-Wash.-- An Eltopia area orchard worker died Wednesday after the tractor he was driving rolled down an embankment.

Sgt. Marcus Conner with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office said the 53-year old man was working alone in a remote field off of Eltopia West Road when the accident happened.

The orchard's owner went looking for the man at around 3:30 p.m. when he didn't return from the field, and discovered the man's body.

Sgt. Conner says the accident may have happened about an hour or more before the body was found.

Coroner Curtis McGary identified the man as Jaime Alcarz-Guizar from Pasco.

Investigators do not suspect any foul play.
