One arrested in connection with thefts from real estate open houses in Kennewick
Kennewick Police have made an arrest in connection with a pair of recent thefts at open houses.
The owners of a home for sale in the 6600 block W. 33rd Place on Saturday, October 12th reported that a man had gone into the house and allegedly stole prescription medication and a piece of jewelry.
Investigators identified Jason Barnett, 40, as a possible suspect.
Tuesday morning, detectives served a search warrant at Barnett's home in the 1500 block of W 39th Ave., and Barnett was taken into custody.
Barnett was booked into the Benton County Jail for Theft 2nd Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
