Man arrested after crashing vehicle into canal near West Richland

A 32-year old man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle in West Richland Monday morning.

The Benton County Sherif's Office says deputies responded to the intersection of Canal Drive and Ranch Road, where they found an SUV on its side, in a dry irrigation canal.

The driver, Phillip Mora, was not hurt, but deputies say he appeared to be under the influence

Mora was booked into the Benton County Jail.
