Increase traffic expected leading up to boat race weekend

Expect increased traffic leading up to boat race weekend.

Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohnberg says they are ready for the crowd in and around Columbia park.

"We're going to hopefully just be the peace keepers down there, and be able to interact with the families. We will have our bike patrols," says Hohnberg.

Hohenberg says they will be watching for DUI's and those misbehaving around Columbia Park.

He is urging people to use Ben Franklin Transit or take a taxi to get to the park this coming weekend.
