Everywhere, USA- If you've bought gas lately, you probably cringed a little when you looked at the bill.

According to Patrick Dehann from Gasbuddy.com, Washington state saw it's strongest week of gasoline demand since the pandemic began, up 6% from just a week ago. It's translating to notably higher gasoline and diesel prices.

"In fact gasoline prices in Washington state have surpassed that $3 gallon mark, it's been a couple of years since that happened and unfortunately there's really no end in sigh with the price of crude oil continuing to rally," says Dehann.

One reason for the price inflation is OPEC's decision last week against increasing production. They won't visit the issue again for another 3-4 weeks, so we can expect oil and fuel prices to continue to increase in the meantime.
