KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The Benton-Franklin Department of Health reported dozens of new cases of COVID-19 Monday morning.

With 55 new cases added, the bi-county total number of cases is now 1,113, with 50 deaths related to the illness.

There are currently 31 patients receiving treatment in hospitals in Benton and Franklin Counties.

Walla Walla reported another six cases Monday, for a total of 88 cases, including Walla Walla County residents who work at the Tyson Fresh Meats facility in Wallula.

As of Monday morning, four patients are hospitalized due to the virus.

So far, Walla Walla County has not recorded any coronavirus-related deaths.
