30 COVID cases linked to Tyson plant in Wallula

The Benton-Franklin Health District has linked 28 lab-confirmed and another two presumed COVID-19 cases to the Tyson Fresh Meats plant in Wallula.

Tyson is said to be working with the BFHD, Walla Walla County Health Department…where the plant is located, and state health officials to mitigate the situation.

Tyson employs about 1,400 people at Wallula plant.
