WA Secretary of State Issues COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Staff
(Olympia, WA) -- Washington's new Secretary of State is issuing a COVID-19 vaccine mandate to his staff. Democrat Steve Hobbs informed his staff of roughly 300 people that they have until February 25th to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or risk termination. The Secretary of State's office under Hobbs' Republican predecessor Kim Wyman was previously the only Washington state office that did not have a COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place.
Governor Jay Inslee appointed Hobbs late last year after Wyman took a job with the Biden Administration.
