KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The Benton-Franklin Health District has released information about two additional cases of confirmed COVID-19 in the Tri-Cities.

  • Franklin County man in his 40s who is recovering at home.
  • A Benton County man in his 70s with underlying health conditions who is currently hospitalized.


On Wednesday, the Benton-Franklin Health District confirmed that a woman in her 80s passed away at a local hospital.


BFHD has received notification that 66 tests in the two counties have come back negative, although physicians are not required to report negative test results.


Residents in Benton and Franklin Counties are encouraged to continue practicing social distancing, and be diligent about washing hands, using hand sanitizer, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and staying home if you're sick.
