TOPPENISH, Wash.-- Police in Toppenish are looking for a man suspected of shooting and injuring another man Saturday night.


Officers were called out the the area of Old Timers Plaza at E. Toppenish Ave. at about 9:50 p.m. where they found a 29-year old Hispanic male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.


The victim told officers that he had been walking on the sidewalk when a Hispanic male approached him on foot, then started firing at him with a handgun before running away on foot.


Investigators say the victim had been struck in the legs, pelvic area, and the back. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.


The suspect has not been identified, and no arrests have been made.
