KENNEWICK, Wash-- The Kennewick Fire Department responded to the 400 block of East Bruneau Avenue in the downtown area north of the railroad tracks for a report of a large debris and brush fire near Rad Towing and Twin City Metals.

Kennewick Police say the fire appeared to start from a bucket that was found in the area, and strong winds were pushing the flames and threatening a nearby building.

At around the same time, paramedics responded to a nearby call of a person with breathing difficulty and burned clothing. It's not known how or if the two incidents are connected.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Kennewick Fire Marshal's Office.
