Schneider Spring

The now nearly month old Schneider Spring fire continues to burn, now just 8% contained after burning nearly 84 thousand acres.

With a warming trend returning over the fire area and relative humidity dropping into the teens, fire behavior is expected to increase.

Crews plan to conduct property defense activities in preparation for firing operations if needed in the Bumping River, Hwy 410 corridor and the Hwy 12 corridor.
