The now nearly month old Schneider Spring fire continues to burn, now 10% contained, up from 8% yesterday and has grown several hundred acres to 84,500 acres.

With a warming trend returning over the fire area and relative humidity dropping into the teens, fire behavior is expected to increase.

Crews plan to conduct property defense activities in preparation for firing operations if needed in the Bumping River region, the Hwy 410 corridor and the Hwy 12 corridor.
