OLYMPIA, Wash. - Governor Jay Inslee announced on Monday, April 12 that 3 counties will be moving back to Phase 2.

Pierce, Cowlitz and Whitman counties will roll back a phase, meaning that retail stores and restaurants will be back to 25% capacity indoors among other requirements. Yakima was on the watch list last last week, but remains in Phase 3.

Benton and Franklin counties will stay in Phase 3 as the case count per 100,000 people in a two week period is 172 for Franklin and 147 for Franklin.

The next evaluation will be on May 3.
