Oregon Redistricting Commission

Oregon Secretary of State Shemia Fagan Thursday announced the new Oregon People’s Commission on redistricting. It’s an advisory body created in case the state legislature fails to pass a redistricting bill by the September 27 deadline, and Fagan is required to conduct redistricting instead. Those interested in a spot on the commission have until September 2nd to apply through the Oregon Secretary of State website.
