KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The COVID-19 testing site at the HAPO Center is relocating to Kennewick effective Tuesday, January 5, 2020.

The National Guard will continue to operate the new Kennewick Community COVID Testing Site at 1709 S. Ely St., next to the Training Center for the Kennewick Fire Department.

"Convenience really was one of the key drivers for us wanting to move the site over to Kennewick," said Erin Hackaday with the Benton Franklin Health District. "We wanted to make sure we had access to testing in our more dense areas in our communities."

The new location will be open the same hours that the HAPO site operated, which is Tuesday through Friday from 7am to 3pm.

You can pre-register for testing through the Benton Franklin Health District website.

There are no changes to the testing schedule or operations at the CBC West testing site location on Argent Rd. in Pasco. That site will continue testing 7 days a week, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
