Carousel of Dreams presents donation for Community Care Fund

On Thursday, Gesa Carousel of Dreams Executive Director Parker Hodge and Shay Richer presented Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg with a check for $1,690.00 for the Kennewick Police Foundation Community Care Fund. The money was raised during the first annual End of Year School Celebration. Police officers often encounter families and individuals who need immediate help-- like a tank of gas, a place to sleep on a freezing night, or a meal. The Community Care Fund was set up to give officers the resources to help in a pinch. Anyone wanting to donate can do so by going to the Kennewick Police Foundation web site or contacting the Kennewick Police Department.
