Kennewick Hit-and-Run Leaves Woman in Critical Condition

(Kennewick, WA) -- Police are looking for a driver who left one pedestrian in critical condition following a hit-and-run on the 5000 block of W. Clearwater Avenue early Monday morning. Officers were dispatched to a report of woman lying in the street. Upon arrival, they learned a 28-year-old had been hit by car while crossing the street.

The driver and occupants of the suspect vehicle pulled to the side of the road and fled on foot. A K-9 unit was able to locate some property belonging to the suspects, but they're still on the loose. The woman is currently being treated at a local hospital.
