Washington State U.S. Lawmakers Divided Over Iran Bombing

Over the weekend the United States launched an attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities by dropping six "Bunker-Buster" bombs delivered by B-2 stealth bombers.  The three sites (Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz) were hit with a combined 180,000 pounds of explosives in what has become known as "Operation Midnight Hammer".

Leading up to strike, Americans seemed united in their concern about Iran being able to build a nuclear weapon.  The results of a June 18th CNN poll held that 79% of registered voters opposed of a nuclear capable Iran, while a Fox News Poll on the subject had similar results to CNN's but had higher returns in all three political demographics than the same poll did in 2019.

It didn't take long for the strikes to receive approval and condemnation from both sides of the aisle.  Most of the Federal delegation from Washington State weighed in as well.  As you can imagine, the results were mixed there as well.  Some were in favor, others against, with a couple statements trying to walk a line in the middle.  Here is what they had to say.
