Inslee Applauds Decision To Reopen Border With Canada

(Olympia, WA) -- Washington Governor Jay Inslee says he's pleased to hear that the Biden Administration will reopen border entry from Canada starting in November. Inslee says the closure has hurt the economies of border communities and has limited their economic recovery. The Democratic Governor says Canada has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world and the border should have been reopened to vaccinated travelers sooner.
