Climate Pledge Arena Cancels Annual Health Clinic to Host Concerts Instead

(Seattle, WA) -- Climate Pledge Arena is calling off this year's annual free health clinic in favor of holding two concerts. The Seattle-King County Clinic had been tentatively scheduled for the weekend starting October 20th, but the venue now has concerts for Zac Brown Band and The Who booked for that weekend.

One clinic leader told KING-5 that organizers are feeling "total shock and frankly devastation" at the news. They say the move means nearly four-thousand people will be forced to forgo healthcare this year.

In a statement, Climate Pledge and its management The Oak View Group, claim they remain "steadfast in their commitment and obligation to the community and the clinic."
