(Seattle, WA) -- Online retailer Amazon is reporting "record-breaking" Black Friday sales. Amazon Worldwide Consumer CEO Dave Clark made an appearance on CBS's Face The Nation during which he noted consumers are putting their holiday cash into clothing, seasonal decor, and toys. Clark also mentioned his view on inflation. He doesn't believe the increase in the costs of goods has had major impacts on consumers so far this holiday season.

According to Amazon, even independent businesses selling on Amazon surpassed $4.8 billion in worldwide sales from Black Friday through the start of Cyber Monday--up 60% from last year.
