Washington State Added 2,500 Jobs In June
(Olympia, WA) -- Washington's economy added 25-hundred jobs last month. The unemployment rate remained three-point-nine-percent. State Economist Paul Turek says the labor market remains strong, but hiring is showing signs of slowing. Efforts to curb high inflation will likely slow job growth. The most jobs added were in leisure and hospitality, professional and business services, and education and health services.
