WA Orders 5.5M At-Home COVID-19 Tests
(Olympia, WA) -- Washington Governor Jay Inslee says the state is preparing for an increase in COVID-19 cases, because of the Omicron variant. Inslee says the state has purchased over five-million at-home COVID-19 tests. Schools and local health agencies will get a million tests each. The remaining three-and-a-half million tests will be distributed using a web portal that Amazon is helping to design. It's expected to be available in mid-January.
