(Richland, WA) -- The Washington state Department of Health is banning a Tri-Cities man who faked drug trials from practicing medicine in the state. Sami Anwar is currently serving a 28-year sentence in a federal prison. The Washington Department of Health's Unlicensed Practice Program has completed its case against Anwar, which will prohibit him from doing medical work after he's released from prison. His federal sentence requires him to pay nearly two-million dollars restitution to victims.
