Police arrest a suspect in the killing of two people in Sunnyside.

A record 98 overdose deaths kept authorities busy in Yakima County in 2021.

Curtis says the incident in which he struggled with a Deputy was the result of his challenge with his mental health after serving as an EMT and Paramedic since 1991.

Curtice says at the beginning of August the number of overdose deaths was 41. In September the number was 50 overdoses.

Curtice says over the last two days he's seen 4 overdose deaths and he's concerned there's a large amount of fentanyl laced pills being sold on the streets of Yakima.
