(Seattle, WA) -- Seattle police are reporting a major increase in the number of fentanyl pills being seized in the city. The Department has collected nearly 650,000 fentanyl-based pills so far this year--nearly ten times the amount seized in 2020.


Interim Police Chief Adrian Diaz says the department is working with federal partners to fight the fentanyl crisis in the city.
