Pullman Fire

According to the Pullman Fire Department, embers from a house fire that started on NE Maple St. were carried by 30 mph winds to another house over a block away on NE Howard St. The 3-story structure's cedar shake roof initially caught fire, destroying the home, displacing a dozen WSU students and catching a near-by hillside on fire. The initial fire is under investigation.
