PORTLAND, Ore.-- Portland Public Schools scheduling a work session to discuss the possibility of a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for students 12 and older. The conversation comes as some Oregon counties are requesting emergency help getting mobile morgues to store those who are passing away in hospitals. Several hospitals have already brought in trailers to act as mobile morgues, including Providence Portland and Providence St. Vincent.

A student representative at the school board meeting Tuesday night voiced support for a mandate.
