Kennewick man arrested after standoff with police

A Kennewick man is in custody following a more than 3-hour long standoff Monday night. Police say 29-year old Andres D. Gonzalez choked his sister, and wouldn't let her and her three young children leave their apartment on W 1st Place. Police say he also tried starting a fire. The suspect finally surrendered to police at 6:00 PM. Gonzalez faces charges for 2nd Degree Domestic Violence, Unlawful Imprisonment, and Attempted Arson.
