Inslee, State Employees Union Tentatively Agree On Vaccine Mandate

(Olympia, WA) -- Representatives for the state's largest labor union say they've reached a tentative deal with Governor Jay Inslee on a COVID-19 vaccination mandate. The agreement would protect state employees seeking exemptions from losing their jobs on October 18th, which is the deadline to be fully vaccinated. The Washington Federation of State Employees had filed a lawsuit to stop the mandate from going into effect.
