Inslee Outlines Budget In State Of State Address
(Olympia, WA) --Washington Governor Jay Inslee is calling on legislators to take action on several issues during their short 60 day session. In his State of the State address, Inslee outlined his 62-billion dollar budget. It includes funding to help schools and students recover from the pandemic. 815-million dollars on homelessness and supportive housing. 626-million dollars on programs to combat climate change. And, Inslee wants lawmakers to pass legislation that would make it illegal for politicians to knowingly spread lies about elections that result in violence.
