(Olympia, WA) -- Washington residents who are at higher risk from COVID-19 can get a drug that helps prevent the virus. The Washington Department of Health reports Evusheld is a monoclonal antibody treatment that's given as an injection before the person gets COVID-19. It's available to people 12 and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised or have had a severe allergic reaction to a COVID-19 vaccine. Ask your health care provider if you're eligible.
