Elderly Man Found Dead in Front of Kennewick Home

(Kennewick, WA) -- An assault call sent Benton County Sheriff's Deputies to a home in Kennewick near 10th Ave and Gum Street around 5:00 Friday night. When the deputies arrived, they found an elderly man lying dead either on the front lawn or on the driveway of a home there. The suspect was no where to be found. Authorities brought in a K-9 unit to try and track the suspect, but Sheriff Tom Croskrey tells Newsradio 610 KONA they were unsuccessful. No names have been released and it's unclear how the victim died. Authorities do say it's a homicide investigation.
