District health officials attribute 2 more deaths to COVID-19 in our region

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The total number of deaths in Benton County now stands at 9, after the Benton Franklin Health District said 2 men in their 90s died after contracting the virus. Franklin County still hasn't reported any deaths associated with COVID-19.

The Health District reports that the two counties now have 223 coronavirus cases. With more testing happening, they are seeing more tests come back negative. Today, nearly 1,000 tests have returned negative for the virus.
