Coyote Ridge getting some of the limited DOC vaccines

CONNELL, Wash.-Inmates and staff at the Coyote Ridge Correctional Facility are now receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to a memo sent Monday by the State Department of Corrections, the prison in Connell, as well as the one in Airway Heights, are a priority given the number of cases both locations have seen.

As of Monday evening, more than 1,400 inmates had tested positive at the facility just west of Spokane, and more than 350 at Coyote Ridge.
