Man who drowned on Wenatchee River identified
Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris has identified 53-year-old Keith Thomas of Shelton, WA as the man who died after falling into the Wenatchee River during a raft ride Wednesday.
His 15 year old daughter also fell into the water, but was assisted to the shore by a safety kayaker, who was accompanying rafting group.
The kayaker was unable to save Harris, who was found unresponsive 10 minutes later. River flow was reported to be twice the normal speed at the time of the incident.
