13 deaths in Benton County and 1 in Franklin County attributed to COVID-19

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Benton Franklin Health District released the daily report on the impact that the coronavirus is having in our area. 14 people have now died because of the virus with Franklin County counting its first death related to COVID-19.

A woman in her 60s from Benton County died along with a woman in her 90s from Benton County. Two men from Benton County also died, one in his 70s and one in his 80s. Franklin County's death was a woman in her 60s.

There are now 235 COVID-19 cases in Benton and Franklin County, 54 of those cases are linked to someone else who tested positive. The Health District did not share the tests that have come back negative.
